Une passion pour les livres devenue un métier. Une expérience de l’édition devenue une expertise au service des auteurs.
Mon parcours dans le monde du livre a commencé par une passion ancienne pour la lecture et l’envie de défendre les textes qui me touchaient. De la chronique littéraire à l’édition, puis de l’édition à la représentation d’auteurs, chaque étape s’est construite naturellement autour d’une même conviction : un manuscrit de qualité mérite d’être défendu avec exigence, discernement et conviction.
Mon expérience en maison d’édition m’a permis d’appréhender le livre dans sa globalité. Sélection des manuscrits, travail éditorial, accompagnement des auteurs, correction, conception et préparation des ouvrages, suivi administratif : j’ai appris le métier de l’intérieur et, surtout, à regarder un texte avec les yeux d’un éditeur.
Cette connaissance du fonctionnement éditorial constitue aujourd’hui l’un des fondements de mon travail d’agent.
En 2020, j’ai créé L’Agence Littéraire – IS afin de mettre cette expérience au service des auteurs et de devenir le lien entre leur travail et les maisons d’édition susceptibles de le porter.
Chaque auteur, chaque manuscrit et chaque parcours étant différent, je privilégie une représentation personnalisée. Il ne s’agit pas de multiplier les envois, mais d’identifier les bons interlocuteurs, de construire une présentation éditoriale solide et de défendre chaque projet auprès des maisons auxquelles il peut véritablement correspondre.
Au fil des années, l’agence a accompagné de nombreux projets jusqu’à leur publication et développé des relations avec des professionnels de l’édition en France comme à l’étranger.
Aujourd’hui, L’Agence Littéraire – IS poursuit son développement international, notamment à travers la représentation et la cession de droits étrangers, afin d’offrir aux œuvres que je représente de nouvelles perspectives au-delà de leur territoire d’origine.
Mais derrière les contrats, les négociations et les droits, l’essentiel reste le même : le texte et son auteur.
Être agent littéraire, c’est savoir reconnaître un potentiel, trouver la maison capable de le révéler et défendre un projet avec suffisamment de conviction pour donner envie à un éditeur d’en tourner la première page.
C’est cette mission qui guide L’Agence Littéraire – IS depuis sa création.

My journey in the world of books began with a lifelong passion for reading and a desire to champion the stories that moved me. From literary reviewing to publishing, and from publishing to author representation, each step has naturally grown from the same conviction: a strong manuscript deserves to be represented with commitment, discernment and conviction.
My experience within a publishing house gave me an in-depth understanding of the entire publishing process. Manuscript selection, editorial development, author support, proofreading and editing, book production and administrative follow-up: I learned the profession from the inside and, above all, how to assess a manuscript from a publisher’s perspective.
That first-hand knowledge of the publishing industry is now one of the foundations of my work as a literary agent.
In 2020, I founded L’Agence Littéraire – IS to put this experience at the service of authors and to build a bridge between their work and the publishers best positioned to bring it to readers.
Because every author, manuscript and career is unique, I favour a highly personalised approach to representation. The aim is not to send manuscripts indiscriminately, but to identify the right publishing partners, build a compelling submission package and champion each project with publishers whose lists genuinely match its potential.
Over the years, the agency has supported numerous projects through to publication and developed professional relationships with publishers in France and internationally.
Today, L’Agence Littéraire – IS continues to expand its international activities, particularly through the representation, negotiation and licensing of foreign rights, opening new opportunities for the works I represent beyond their original markets.
Yet behind the contracts, negotiations and rights, the essential remains unchanged: the manuscript and its author.
Being a literary agent means recognising potential, finding the publisher capable of bringing it to its fullest expression, and championing a project with enough conviction to make an editor want to turn the very first page.
This is the mission that has guided L’Agence Littéraire – IS since its creation.
