The Pox Project

In Montreal, in 1885, in the midst of the smallpox epidemic, orphans mysteriously disappear and no one seems to care. As the lies multiply, Julien Tessier, his sister Victorine and several other residents want to quickly understand what is going on and find someone who could believe their allegations and intervene. Are they also threatened? Is it too late to find the missing?

Lies, hypnotism and electroshocks weave the backdrop of this historical suspense that takes us from an austere orphanage to the oozing corridors of an asylum. In a time full of danger, in the dark streets of Montreal, a conspiracy is brewing that is beyond anything they can imagine.

CAP-AUX-ESPRITS

Nightmarish hallucinations, strange noises in the attic, apparitions of a dead girl; Simon’s new house is the subject of rumors and disturbing phenomena.

What family would be able to resist her?

Simon moves into a historic house with his mother and sister. A boring summer seems to be coming for the teenager, but the meeting of Fred, a mysterious blue-haired girl, makes his heart beat faster. Very quickly, however, his heart was racing under another effect; Unexplained events multiply around him.

The past does not seem to have said its last word and rumbles from the depths of the house.

CHEMIN DE CROIX

A private detective without ambition, Patrick Kelly is satisfied to run his modest agency with fickle husbands, petty frauds and bad paying fathers. As long as he retains joint custody of his daughter, can listen to blues while abusing his guitar and sample whiskeys, he is satisfied.

Everything changes the day a young nun entrusts him with the mission of finding an old crucifix that was once used to invoke the devil. Kelly finds herself confronted by Satanists who drag young runaways into their dark rites. At the same time, the number of flayed bodies in Montreal’s churches multiplied, and the police had their hands full.

On all sides, the past is catching up with Patrick Kelly…

VENGEANCE

Tome 1 : Le glaive de Dieu

A young history teacher, Pierre Moreau leads a simple, peaceful life, loved by his sweet, gentle fiancée Julie. One day, his father-in-law Émile Fontaine takes him to a meeting of Freemasons. Little does he know that a secret organisation has been pinning its hopes on him for centuries. He finds himself obliged to undertake a momentous and mysterious quest, the mere mention of which makes the highest echelons of the Church tremble.

Tome 2 : Le grand œuvre

Montreal, 1886. Pierre Moreau now knows who he really is: Joseph-Bernard-Mathieu Leclair, the last descendant of the line that holds the key to the Argumentum. He recovered the key from the coffin of a nun in the crypt of the convent of the Grey Nuns. It takes the form of a medallion bearing a scene and inscriptions. It cost him his cousin Adrien, with whom he grew up. But he still doesn’t know the nature of the Argumentum – the proof to which the medallion should lead him and which he must recover to save Julie. The most he knows is that it is an object once kept by the Knights Templar, for which Pope Clement V destroyed the Order in 1307. With the help of Maurice Demers, Solomon Wolofsky, Barthélémy Perreault and Honoré Beaugrand, all members of Opus Magnum and descendants of Templars who escaped the purge, he embarks on a breathless quest through the streets of Montreal. Somewhere in Canada, in a long-forgotten place, there is an object that was hidden on the pretext of the founding of a colony called Ville-Marie. A thousand-year-old object whose nature he does not know, but which could cause the collapse of Christianity. To find it, he has to decipher the contents of the medallion while corpses pile up around him and a mysterious adversary seems to be pulling the strings behind the scenes. What he discovers will be worse than he ever imagined. When he unearths the Argumentum beneath Notre-Dame Basilica, he discovers a two-thousand-year-old lie.

SYNOPSIS :
